Nose:
This piercing has a very long history stemming back to the creation of the Christian Bible. In the Book of Genesis of the Bible 24:22, Abraham's servant gave gold nose-jewels to Rebekah, the wife of his son Isaac. The word "Shanf" appeared in this passage, which has been translated as "earring" it also means "nose ring" which is more likely given their cultural customs. India is the most common place associated to nose piercings given their wedding custom of piercing the bride to be's left nostril on the eve of their wedding.
Navel:
This piercing is really more of a recent thing having it's history more strongly based off jewelled navels of Belly-dancers and other such stomach adornments.
Lip:
Lip piercings have been around for a very long time with no concrete proof of it's origin. Many tribal cultures across the world have practiced lip piercing as well as lip stretching.
Tongue:
The tongue piercing has it's origins mainly in a temporary fashion. In more recent times there is documented imagery (by Ripley's) of early 1900's side show performers with a barbell in what seemed to be a tongue piercing. As far as the temporary history of the piercing Aztecs were known to pierce the tongue as a blood offering. Many rituals throughout Asia also involve temporary tongue piercings.
